Chapter 41 RIDICULOUS

• I sat in my office, trying to remember when I saw her leave with that guy named Carver after she had sex with me in the library. I missed the meeting, but that did not really matter because I was only a substitute teacher around here, but I was not bothered with that. The one thing that had been bothering me for the past thirty minutes since sitting here was watching Carver kiss Meredith on the cheek. That was an actual close contact from another man who was younger than me, and I had no idea that watching another guy kiss her on the cheek would actually make me feel….ridiculous.
• I must have been bothered by the fact that Carver was much younger than me, and that the age difference between us is actually quite large. I guess I am just bothered by her going on dates with a much younger guy than me, who is basically twelve years my junior. I mean, it is upsetting to think about because I can not help but be concerned. Is it possible for me to hear myself? Yes, I actually heard myself quite well. Concerned. I am actually concerned about a woman, who is dating a much younger man, while I recently agreed to have a sexual relationship with her.
