Chapter 72 Amazing Presents From Mr Yarwood
- "Mr. Yarwood? Xavier's shocked eyes grew wide. "Why is he trying to find her?" Everyone who hadn't already departed turned around as a result of his sentence. Were they misheard? Was Mr. Yarwood trying to find that "fake daughter"? "Mr. Yarwood wants to return the things belonging to the Yates," the bodyguard retorted. It transpired that his intention was to give her something back. Everyone exchanged relieved looks with one another. That was logical. How could a man from a tiny town know a "fake daughter"? Abel was in front of Wynter. "I'll accompany her." He had, after all, assured his grandfather that he would keep her safe.
- "Sorry, sir," the bodyguard said in a stern voice. Only Ms. Yates was invited by Mr. Yarwood. "Yates isn't my last name." After remaining silent for the entire time, Wynter gripped the phone in her pocket. "Please show the way." It's unlikely that Mr. Yarwood's search for her was motivated by his discovery of Wolf. Perhaps an inadvertent camera in the inner hallway caught her image. If that's the case, she may easily fabricate an explanation. She followed the bodyguard, never quite sure what he had in mind. Abel feared for her well-being. "Miss, don't feel scared." The Yarwoods have common sense! As casually as ever, Wynter waved.
- He pondered. What happens if the Yarwoods don't make sense? We're helpless against the Yarwoods! Abel surveyed his surroundings. With just a blow, their bodyguards might take them both out of the of the cold! Wynter took note of the manor's design as well. She never considered employing force instead of her IQ to solve the issue. The bodyguard hesitated to address her as "Ms." As Wynter Quinnell, I am. "Mrs. Quinnell." "Please come in," the security officer said as he opened the door. Her eyebrows went up. "Won't you be entering?" The bodyguard dutifully stood by the entrance without saying anything.
