Ewan had never experienced the gut-wrenching sensation of reaching rock bottom before. Deep discomfort had taken the place of the joy he had experienced when he had kicked Margaret out. Ewan abruptly lost everything overnight after being accustomed to everyone calling him "Mr. Yates."
