Chapter 23 Scion Of The Yarwoods
- Their gazes locked. They both failed to avoid it. Wynter, in particular, gave Dalton a glaring gaze. Wynter knew a lot of gorgeous guys, considering her fixation with appearance, but none quite matched Dalton's excellent looks. A set of bottomless eyes admirably graced that horribly pale face, adding a touch of natural coolness. Dalton exuded a unique, scholarly aura that was both aristocratic and delicate. He stayed calm in the middle of the chaos. Dalton seemed like a youthful scion of some ancient aristocratic family with his ethereal air. Excitedly, the fat Ryan hurried over to speak with Dalton right away. Wynter was unable to overhear their conversation through the soundproof glass. Her eyebrows went up.
- The next moment, Dalton glanced toward her again. Shrouded in dim light, his facial features appeared vague yet enchanting. “Dr. Genius?” Dalton’s voice was cold. Ryan continued enthusiastically, almost flatteringly, “Yes! I found her in the community square. Although she’s young, her medical skills are amazing. Mr. Quinnell’s fever cooled down in ten minutes.” When Dalton was about to ask further, Wynter emerged from the ward. While walking, Wynter instructed Sergio beside her, “Monitor the patient’s temperature these two days. He doesn’t need antibiotics. Give him more nebulization. I’ll write you the prescription later. I’ll come over for the treatment at the same time tomorrow.”
- Sergio discovered that, while being the most gifted physician among the younger Lopezes, he was merely mediocre. Even after winning an honor overseas, he had never been more excited or admired someone. Sergio gave Wynter a glimmer in his eye. "Agreed, Dr. Brilliant. Could you instruct me in the art of acupuncture? Other physicians were also intrigued by it and crowded around in silence, though they did not hold out much hope that the brilliant doctor would teach outsiders this special ability. Much to their astonishment, Wynter nodded and replied coolly, "Yes. Everyone takes notes. I will not do that again. I'll give out the main ideas so you can research them on your own. She didn't seem to be accustomed to instructing just one individual at a time.
