Chapter 86
- Grey’s POV
- Being an outcast in your own home feels uniquely painful. I grew up being loved, respected and obeyed. Everything I wanted was given to me without asking twice. It was a wonderful feeling. For some people, they never really got close to their father. Some did not even grow up feeling any kind of love from him, but I would say I did have all of that.
- My father was present. He gave me different gifts, some I liked, some I did not. He took me everywhere he went to; council meetings, gatherings, parties, even the execution of people, I was in attendance. According to what I’ve been told, he started doing this from the moment I could walk, which was way too early. From the pictures, I look like a five-year-old human child. I did not understand a lot of things, but my father made sure I did. He never keeps secrets from me.
