• Lavender’s POV
• I watched as Grey pulled the body away from the hallway so as not to attract anyone to that place. My mind went to what he did. Why did he wink at me? It was strange since I had never had any sort of relationship with him. We are not even close. I do not hate him because I just met him, and there was no reason to hate him when he had not done anything wrong to me.
• However, that action still seemed weird to me since we were not close. I quickly pushed aside thoughts that my mind was not meant to explore. I wanted to believe I was overthinking it and needed to concentrate on things that were more important. The main thing at the moment is to visit my mother, and that was it.
