Chapter 78
- Alpha Toot’s POV
- I took a sip of my wine as I rested my gaze on the flowers that were before the safari. It was a beautiful set of flowers that was planted because my late wife wanted it. She said they were beautiful, and until today I have not seen what she saw in them that made her want to keep it. However, even after her death, I have refused to take it off the ground and out of this garden because there was no use in doing that.
- Since I was used to its presence, I would have embraced the new look if I had changed or replaced it, but I decided to let it stay the way it was. Just as I raised my cup to take another sip, I heard Grey’s voice. “You sent for me,” he said, and I turned my head to look at him.
