Chapter 83

• Lavender’s POV
• I screamed for help. Despite my screams, I only received help after rushing out of the room and dragging a maid with me to assist my mother. She was reluctant to even touch her. I pleaded, but the maid left the room. I assumed she went to inform Alpha Toot about the situation and would only assist my mother once he gave her the go-ahead. I kept trying to wake her up. I rushed to the kitchen to get some water to sprinkle on her.
• None of the maids allowed me to do so. They kept blocking my path. I tried to explain the situation to them, but it fell on deaf ears. After trying for a good twenty minutes, I rushed back to the room and saw a maid tending to my mother. I felt relieved but still restless, as she was unconscious. I tried to ask the maid to explain what was happening, but the maid did not respond. I was losing it, but no one cared about me.
