Chapter 54

• The party had officially come to an end and many of the guests left while some spent the night in the numerous bedrooms of the golden mansion. Since the guests were mostly made up of friends and colleagues, they were actually understanding and did not act in any negative way towards Neil’s dad after the incident.
• Neil refused Cora’s offer for us to stay for the night because he was very upset. I was bone tired and immediately we got home that night, we crashed. The tiredness even spilled over to today. We both spent most of the day in bed.
• Neil, of course, wanted to have sex and I found out that he did not even turn me on anymore. But I did not have the heart to refuse, I mean, it’s Neil.
