Chapter 111
- The late afternoon soon glowed in the horizon, looking so much more beautiful because I was staring at it from atop a hill. I turned around, to see Adonis’ familiar black Jeep glistening intimidatingly, parked slantingly. He had warned me not to touch it, in a tone that I could only describe as possessive. The vehicle must hold some kind of emotional value to him then.
- The beautiful sprawling city could be seen in the not too far distance and I felt my stomach roil for some reason as I looked back up at the building I just walked out of.
- It was a two-story bachelor pad that was all glistening see-through glass, obsidian walls designed with sleek white scratches. It was fucking luxurious, I had to admit. The lights around the building just added to the entire extravagant feel to it and I just realized how fucking costly all of this must be. Everything kept reminding me of how little I truly know about Adonis.
