Chapter 109

After grabbing my phone from a shadowy room with a large bed and sparse, expensive décor, I found my way back to the room I had woken up in earlier so I could see if I would find some clothes to put on and get out of here. I switched my phone on as I lowered my ass onto the soft bed for a moment, ignoring the brief urge to lie down and sleep off.
My thumb scrolled over the screen as I checked my texts, to see if Adonis really did what he claimed he had. I tapped on each of them one after the other.
