• I bent over to place the rest of the roast chicken in the freezer and straightened back up, shutting the freezer back closed. We had finished having dinner and I had successfully made Adonis eat a whole lot even though his eyes looked dead and flat the entire time he had to eat the 'bland' food.
• I was not so lucky in getting him to drink some tea I had picked up at the store earlier that would help sober him up quickly. His answer had been a flat, cold no and nothing I said could make him accept it. At least we scaled through dinner without ending up having sex on the kitchen table.
