• I was staring at Neil in a whole new light now. How the hell was he a fucking father? Had Leilani had a child secretly or something?
• Neil groaned and rubbed his hands down his face. “Rita. I have a son with my ex. She recently revealed that she had been unknowingly pregnant after we broke up years ago. She kept the baby, until her father insisted that she informed me that we had a son together.” He was obviously shaken by the news. “He is four years old. He looks exactly like me. And his name is Neil. I have no fucking idea how to protect him from all of this chaos in my life. That’s why I did not mention him. I can’t trust anyone after what Brooke has done.”
