• Mike had the guts to still hold up an unafraid expression when his men had fled for their lives. I thought he was going to do something harmful to me and serve me as bait. Rather, his eyes struck the entrance of his space, and he was emotionless. He didn’t even make any attempt to release me, at least for hypocritical reasons.
• I was shocked when he moved closer to the entrance to await the policemen when they came. It seemed like the police was redundant in my case and everything he told me had begun to make sense. I was uneasy in my seat: there was a mixture of certainty of release and fear that Mike might have something under his sleeves.
