Chapter 24 Grandfather's Advise

• Jonah’s POV (Before Uncoupling):
• I was back at Grandpa’s house for two reasons: to see Teresa again, maybe ask her out again, and hear from Grandpa about what he called me all the way from home to his mansion. I was thrilled that I would see Teresa’s sparkling face once again yet wry that Cousin Vera would pop up and haunt me just like she did in the old days.
• Surprisingly, Cousin Vera welcomed me in with a hug and a light kiss on my cheek. She lacked the overwhelming wicked trait she had in her the last time we saw each other. I was a little afraid and moved back for a thorough inspection of who I was actually with. I sensed a bit of annoyance in her expression when I sized her up. Perhaps, she thought I was trying to mock her height.
