• I watched Auntie Olive’s lifeless body, while my grandmother’s heavy breath was more resounding as time went on. The situation was no longer amusing to me because my grandmother seemed like she was in a precarious situation. My eyes switched from Auntie Olive’s lifeless body to my grandmother’s frightened self.
• “Is Auntie Olive dead?” I asked my grandmother with tears clouding my eyeballs.
