• The idea that I had ruined many things struck me in a negative direction. I thought deeply about myself and how I could be a wreck within minutes of a situation. Helen left me with a disappointed expression, signifying that there was no way I could change whatever was coming. Even my father seemed like he abandoned me, assuming that all was well and going with Mike.
• I was crazed by that fact within the confines of Patricia’s house and was searching for who I could speak to by that night. The party was soon over and I was kicked out of the house – not necessarily kicked, but sent away because they had to keep their doors shut.
