Chapter 95 Do I Care?
- Jocelyn was fuming at this point. He’s the one who made a mistake, so why is he making it sound like it’s my problem?! “Yeah! We’re engaged, but what’s the big deal? You still ended up seeing some other woman. It’s true when they say that the wildflowers are prettier than those you plant at home!” A drop of icy liquid trickled down from the corner of her eye, and she swiftly brushed it off. She didn’t want to shed a single tear for Sebastian!
- All of the frustration he felt evaporated the moment he saw her cry. He reached a hand out to wipe her tears for her, but she hastily dodged him. At that, he let out a long sigh. “What other woman are you talking about?” He was confused.
- That question was all it took for Jocelyn to lose control over her tears. Large beads of the liquid rolled down her cheeks as she began to voice out her complaints between sobs. “I saw everything. Marilyn saw it too. You’ve been going out early and reaching home late recently. It’s all for that woman, isn’t it? You fed me all that nonsense about an engagement and a marriage, but it looks to me like you were putting on a show the whole time! That’s great; I don’t really want to be a part of the Davis Family anyway. You can just ask one of your pretty women out there to replace my spot instead!” Jocelyn’s chest heaved as she sobbed. The tears in her eyes clouded her bright pupils, and she looked like a weak little kitten that seemed especially precious right then.
