Chapter 292 Loving
- Lindsay was confessing from the bottom of his heart. The message reached Marilyn, and she started tearing up. She knew how hard it was to come across a friend when there were seven billion people in the world, much less someone who loved her. Even so, she managed to bump into Lindsay, who promised he’d protect her, all because of love. She wanted to say something, but she was tongue-tied from the shock.
- Lindsay knew that, so he didn’t rush her. Instead, he kept looking into her eyes. “Marilyn, everyone says time heals everything. It also proves everything, at least for me. It proves my love to you, and how much I care about you. Will you give me a chance to prove my love to you, Marilyn? Marry me, Marilyn. Marry me.”
- ‘Marry me.’ That was all Marilyn could hear. She wanted to say no, but she couldn’t; she wanted to say yes, but she thought she’d make it sound too vague.
