• Jocelyn had said all that she wanted to Sebastian and Marilyn. Having received their warm encouragement in return, she hung up the phone and went downstairs for breakfast, then dialed Pennie’s number.
• As soon as the line picked up, she did not wait for Pennie’s greeting, but instead went straight to the point. “Pennie, regardless of how the awards show would turn out tomorrow, there’s still something I’d like to tell you from the bottom of my heart.”
