Meanwhile, in the hospital, Jocelyn had just gotten some medicine from the pharmacy. Marilyn was down with a flu, so Jocelyn had come to get some medicine for her. After she said thank you to the pharmacist, she was walking toward the elevator.
“This is a lot...” Jocelyn mumbled to herself as she imagined Marilyn frowning while popping the pills into her mouth. Somehow, she was quite excited about it. Despite the medicine’s bitter taste, they were good for Marilyn, so Jocelyn figured she would force Marilyn to take them even if she didn’t want to. I should buy some sweets for Marilyn. If she could have some sweets after taking the medicine, it would taste less bitter, she thought to herself.
All of a sudden, she noticed a familiar figure entering her field of vision. Upon taking a closer look, she realized it was none other than Joanne. Are my eyes playing tricks on me? Jocelyn squinted at the figure. Then, she hurried toward the figure after confirming that it was Joanne indeed. Why is she being so sneaky? Is she scheming something? Jocelyn was suddenly very keen to know about it. Besides, she didn’t want to miss such a great opportunity.
