Chapter 65 Confession
- Sebastian stared at Jocelyn, baffled by what he read on the paper. Just like how a petal landed on the surface of the water, it created ripples to his otherwise still and deep emotions. Upon noticing his lack of response, Jocelyn thought he didn’t get what she meant, so she retrieved her exam papers from her bag. “I just snuck into the office to get this.” She handed it to him as if trying to get his praise, but tucked it into his hand when she noticed he wasn’t taking it. “Just take a look, old man.”
- The expectant look in her eyes looked exactly like the one she had when she handed in her papers that afternoon. The thought of it made his heart skip a beat. Did I miss something back then? When he checked the paper again, he was stunned by what he saw.
- Indeed, she had avoided choosing the correct answers for the multiple choice questions when he checked on her that afternoon, but the wrong answers were now crossed off and replaced by the correct ones. If he calculated the marks she got for the whole paper, including the other questions after the multiple choice questions, she should be able to pass her exams.
