• As the man responded with a silent smile, Jocelyn didn’t say a single word. Then, the both of them headed to the dining table and proceeded to enjoy their meal. Deep down, Jocelyn somehow felt relieved—she felt like she had made the right call. Thus, she ate more than she usually would. After she was done with her meal, she put the silverware aside and turned her attention to Lindsay. “I’ll be here with Marilyn; if you have anything you want to attend to, just leave her with me.”
