• After a long while murmuring to himself, Jackson slowly turned around in disappointment, paced to the side of the bed and lay down in it. Pulling the sheets over his head, he whispered through his teeth, “Mandy, you’re the only one I’ve loved in this life…”
• But why are you doing this to me? Why? He sobbed silently from under the sheets. That was him bidding farewell to the love of his life, and it would be the final farewell as well.
• Outside the door, Jocelyn leaned against the wall as she listened to the soft sounds from within the room, her heart feeling like it weighed a tonne. With a sigh, she thought, Relationships sure are complicated. If Mandy were to be disgraced the very next day, would she have regretted making her current choice instead of choosing to live a life together with Jackson back then?
