Chapter 241 Informing
- Jocelyn nodded and smiled at him before she left the ward. Soon, Jackson found himself alone in the large room, quickly realizing how worried he began to feel after Jocelyn had shut the door behind her. I’m afraid Mandy might unleash all her anger onto Jocelyn. I should be a little more alert just in case that actually happens. I don’t just need to be alert; I also need to recover as soon as possible. I need to be able to take care of myself so that I no longer trouble Jocelyn and Marilyn. With that thought, Jackson glanced at his injuries for a moment before he pressed a bell to call for a nurse.
- The nurse’s response was quick since he was in one of the VIP rooms. He gazed at the nurse for a moment before he parted his lips to speak to her. “I want to be discharged now,” he said in a clear tone. The nurse stared at him dumbfoundedly, looking as if he had just told her a ridiculous joke. “Ah…” she mumbled with a puzzled look. “Are you trying to crack a joke, Mr. Avery? You’re recovering at a healthy rate, but now’s not the right time for you to be discharged yet. Why don’t you just stay—”
- Jackson knew what the nurse was about to say, but that didn’t matter to him. At the moment, he was running out of time, and he had to pick the fastest and most convenient option for him, Jocelyn, and Marilyn. “I can rest when I’m home. This is my decision, and I’m informing you of it right now. I’m not asking for an opinion.” He paused for a second before he spoke again. “Well? Can you do something about it?”
