• Sebastian nodded with an unreadable expression on his face before speaking. “Mr. Kent, I have always known you as a businessman who acts swiftly and aggressively. Since when have you become someone who would put aside your career in order to court a woman?” After a brief pause, Sebastian went on, “Mr. Kent, I need to talk to you. Will you be able to spare a few minutes?”
• Nolan was well aware of what Sebastian was up to. After glancing at Jocelyn, who seemed relaxed, Nolan decided to let on. “If you insist, I suppose I should go along with you, eh? It would be arrogant of me to keep on ignoring you. Since that is the case, let’s talk. This way please, Mr. Davis.”
• Nolan was pointing toward where the sofas were located. Without hesitation, Sebastian followed Nolan over there before the both of them sat down across from each other. Soon after, a waiter offered them some alcohol. Holding a glass each, they toasted each other. It wasn’t until they downed the contents in their respective glasses that they began their discussion.
