• “What did you just call me?” Nelly’s heart jolted with joy. I might have been hallucinating the first time, but I clearly heard Sebastian calling me his mother this time!
• “Can you forgive me for being ignorant and stubborn in the past, Mom?” Sebastian repeated his words in an oddly patient tone. Nelly felt overcome by happiness then, and she was too excited to care about the fact that the kidnapping had been an act. She beamed and nodded as she reached a hand out to stroke Sebastian’s head. “You silly boy. I’ve never blamed you in my life!”
• All along, Jocelyn had been hiding around and watching as the mother and son reconciled their relationship. Finally, she sneakily crept away to leave them to bond. However, she then bumped into Hans. “Aren’t you going to show yourself at all? You contributed a great deal to Sebastian’s reunion with his mother. Why don’t you try to ask him to get back together with you as well? Perhaps there’d be double the happiness then, right?”
