Chapter 9 Chapter Nine

• Ava waited for Dante to have dinner, it was nine o'clock at night, and he hadn't shown up. She decided to eat alone, checked the time again, and nothing. She put the remaining food in the fridge and went to her room, keeping an eye on the door. Unable to hold back sleep, she fell asleep.
• In the early hours of the morning, she got up to go to the bathroom and found the living room empty. Worried, she returned to her room without being able to sleep.
• On Saturday, she worked distractedly, not knowing what to do. He didn't have a phone to call him; she just wanted to know he was okay. She had no choice but to wait for him to show up.
