Chapter 14 Chapter Fourteen

• Upon arriving home, Dante went straight to his room. His mind was in chaos. He entered the bathroom, naked, watching the drops of water fall down his body. Out of a surge of anger, he punched the wall with his fists several times until his knuckles bled.
• Dante's mind was tormented by guilt. He had the power to protect that woman, but his guilt didn't allow him to think clearly.
• After showering, he speculated on what strategies he would use to confront Ava's enemies. He dressed casually and headed back to the hospital.
