Chapter 28 Chapter Twenty-eight

• It was Sunday, Ava woke up curled up against her husband. She felt a wave of sadness at the thought that there were only a few days left until their divorce, and they would each go their separate ways. She tried to move to her side of the bed, but realized he had her wrapped in his strong arms.
• "Dan! Let me go, I want to get up. Don't you have to work?" Ava exclaimed, trying to free herself.
• "I start later. Today I have to travel with the boss. I'm sorry I can't accompany you to court for the inheritance, but I befriended one of the company lawyers and he'll represent you in court. He already has our marriage certificate and the other evidence against your father," Dante confessed.
