- Dante arranged for Ava's transfer to his apartment. He walked into the room, turned the handle, and upon entering, observed her for a few seconds. She was sitting with her head bowed, fiddling with her fingers.
- "Ava! Are you in pain?" he asked.
- She lifted her head, her mind only replaying, "Where will I get the money to pay for this place?"
