- Dexter was incredulous at what his eyes were witnessing: his amazon was holding down the arm of the woman who had infuriated him on several occasions. Although he internally enjoyed seeing the scene, he couldn't contain the laughter building up inside him. He focused his gaze on Sofia, and his heart filled with excitement. He asked himself, "Could it be that she missed me as much as I missed her?"
- Dakota, with a grimace of pain on her face, looked at Dexter and in a shrill voice exclaimed, "Boss, tell this animal to let me go. She's hurting me."
