Chapter 9 Madness In The Cell
- Raven jerked trying to shake Lawson off, by now her fangs were visible and threatening. The heat was suffocating in that cell, the dense pheromones the wolf was releasing and however it sought to stimulate the part inside her, the wolf's touch on her body, something that made her shudder and not in the best way, she hated physical contact. And besides, if you added her thick uniform covering her whole body, including the gloves and high boots, and the body sweating all over her and hot, like the situation was a bit overwhelming.
- Her vision blurred a bit at all the stimuli all at once, mostly because her body wanted to surrender to him, his mate, but she scrubbed her head to clear it by fluttering her hair over her forehead. She wouldn't. She had sworn to herself that she would abandon all sexual and reproductive instincts and bury alive the person who was her better half. His life now had a purpose and he didn't exactly include Lawson in those plans. She felt the itch of her nails on her hands clenched above her head as she didn't realize she was clenching her fingers so tightly.
- “I'll order you to do it the easy way, recruit, so I recommend that you do it," she looked at him without hesitation, showing no hint of discomfort in her body, nothing could be further from the truth, "Let go of me and the consequences will be less.
