Chapter 66 Give Me Time
- Lawson let the water run down his body plus he was not happy as he was minutes before. Of course, Raven hadn't given him an answer, it wasn't like he was to be impressed. She had been neutral from the first moment and he knew very well the problems she rooted inside her. It wasn't that easy to answer him and he had just blurted out the question without thinking, in a fit of zeal.
- She put her hand to her head and jerked her head back. The water hit her face barely removing the anxious expression from it. He was anxious. Everything was happening so fast. He was worried about Raven, about them, about how it would all end, and especially about those three damn wolves who were just hovering like flies around his she-wolf.
- He turned off the shower once he was exhausted from thinking. He wasn't really an analytical wolf, he was more of an action wolf. So, if he had to be like a guard dog protecting his she-wolf from the vermin around him, he would. Besides, the gleam in Raven's eyes when he confessed to her and she had been left pondering the answer had been different than before. She had liked it very much as she saw hesitation. She wasn't totally denying it, it just wasn't the time to accept it. In that case she would wait as they were still young and he wanted to take the time to teach her that lovemaking was not like sex and that sex was not scary, but happy.
