Chapter 47 Long Night

  • The rain pelted the barely conscious she-wolf’s head with icy daggers, though these did not reach her face sheltered in the broad back in front of her. Raven allowed herself to inhale a little of her companion's fragrance allowing her to calm down making both the pain that ran through her, as well as the heat that ran through her lower area and that was moistening her against her will, calm down moderately, only she did not expect the effect to be the opposite and make her tremble with anxiety. The one standing next to her was Lawson, the same Lawson as always. The one who despite ordering him to return without her, had gone to find and rescue him.
  • And her body was claiming him as its own. That's how strong the rut was, the bond between them. The destiny they both shared. And god, she was going crazy. Seriously. It was too much.
  • She never thought she would feel somehow happy to see him and this time she could say it from her heart despite her tangled emotions at that very moment. She had so many feelings she couldn't fathom in her chest and so many things going through her mind, but the one that stood out the most was the comfort next to that wolf, the calm it gave to that strange feeling that had been prevailing inside her after the lurid rape event, and the way he filled that emptiness.
