Chapter 82 His Mate Was His Priority
- Lawson had never seen Raven like this, with such a level of hateful exhalation that even he himself had to recoil for a moment. He knew that if he touched her he could be the victim. She didn't seem to react. So he kept his distance, watching what was happening. If she was so eager to kill him for something serious it would be and there was only one thing going through his mind, though the chances were slim.
- Raven for her part kept approaching the wolf who now had his hip all destroyed and was crawling around trying to get away from her. He had played brave before, now he was paying the consequences of having underestimated her. But before he could get far enough away he felt a weight in the middle of his back that made him groan at the impact against the ground and claws wrapped around his neck burying themselves but not in a lethal way.
