Chapter 43 Getting Out Of There Alive

• The smell of blood soon pervaded the room, completely overshadowing the smell of incense. And Raven's senses were activated again and the numbness in her body almost magically vanished, since she was more related to this fragrance than that sweet and unpleasant one. At least the blood that was in her mouth and on her face would keep her awake for quite some time.
• “What the hell?" the one holding Raven was going to pull her off his top and throw her away in fear of being bitten as well, but the hair on the back of her neck was grabbed and she received a strong blow from forehead to forehead. He cursed and also screamed dazed by the impact and the shock to his head.
• Arms came around him from behind holding his wrists and pulled him until he fell to the ground with a thud. The she-wolf didn't think much of it and with a nimble movement dislocated his arm allowing him to move his body a little more and slam the sole of her shoe into one of the wolf's eyes. There would be three of them, with large and robust bodies but they knew nothing about defense. Useless, they were a disgrace to the race.
