Chapter 15 Collapse
- Raven waited a few seconds in the same position, kneeling before the imposing presence of the newcomer. The air was heavy with dense pheromones, which did not attack her, but surrounded her possessively. And her head ached to keep her in that bent position for so long.
- “I see you are managing the camp well despite the inconveniences," the man finally spoke.
- The voice was low and firm at the same time, full of authority, although she knew it could be more pleasant, it invaded the whole room, echoing against the walls. Raven looked up slightly to see him pull the hood back from his head. She had to admit that for his 46 years, the alpha Demon looked great. His features barely appeared his real age, looking ten years younger despite his busy life since puppyhood. His hair was just as dark as hers and he wore it at the nape of his neck with pronounced shiny waves. His skin was the color of olive, not too dark, not too light only bringing out his golden eyes permanently and that thrilled even the soul when they glittered annoyingly. Raven had witnessed them more than once and though they were not directed at her, they tended to raise the hair on the back of her neck.
