• Intrigued by the conversation, I turned to the man in the navy blue suit next to Michele. He introduced himself as Doctor Tommaso Esposito, a physician who apparently was there to examine me. His hand extended towards me, and I shook it, feeling a mixture of anxiety and hope.
• “It's a pleasure to meet you, Catarina,” the doctor said kindly. His calm and professional tone eased my nerves somewhat.
• “The pleasure is mine, Doctor Esposito,” I replied sincerely. “I'm eager to understand what's happening to me.”
