Chapter 67
- The room was imbued with the softness of twilight, silk curtains allowing a faint light to filter through, tinting the walls in shades of yellow. I was busy arranging the sheets on the enormous bed in the hotel room in Rome when the door opened silently. My movements froze as I faced Dante, entering the room.
- I stared at him with evident surprise. “You... are you going to sleep here?” I asked, as if the idea were so absurd that it couldn't be real.
- Dante, in turn, simply crossed his arms and looked at me with a serious expression. “Thought I was joking, Catarina?”
