Chapter 23
- We walked out of the villa, and the sun was shining in the blue sky of Tuscany. The stunning landscape, with its rolling hills and vineyards, provided a spectacular view. Every step we took seemed to distance the tension from inside the villa, and my mind began to acclimate to the idea of spending the afternoon with Michele.
- As we explored the surroundings, Michele showed genuine interest in everything Tuscany had to offer. He asked questions about the local culture, cuisine, and history, and I enthusiastically shared my knowledge of the region I knew well.
- As the hours passed, I realized that Michele was genuinely trying to get to know Tuscany and, perhaps, understand my world better. However, his constant presence and the unresolved feelings I had towards him continued to make me uncomfortable.
