Chapter 85
- Jake Amorielle, a little boy with innocent eyes and a pure heart, was living through a night of terror that no child his age should ever face. He stepped out of the elevator and found himself in the laundry section of the mansion, a place he usually didn't frequent. His quick steps echoed in the space but were soon drowned out by the sound of heavy footsteps approaching.
- A chill ran down his spine as he realized he wasn't alone. Jake was a smart boy and instinctively knew he shouldn't be seen by these strangers. In a pure survival instinct, he rushed to one of the huge baskets filled with dirty bedding and hid underneath them. His breath was rapid, and he held it as the sound of footsteps drew nearer.
- Jácomo Grecco's men entered the room, their voices muffled by the hoods covering their faces. They began searching the area, looking for any sign of Jake. He watched, hidden under the pile of dirty bedding, his eyes wide with fear.
