• Ellis couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her heart raced, and a wave of panic washed over her. She looked at the teacher, her eyes welling up with tears, and her voice trembled, “What? Hooded men? They took my daughter?”
• The teacher nodded with sadness and concern, gripping Ellis's arm to comfort her. She explained, “Yes, it was terrible. We were in a parent-teacher meeting, and suddenly, these armed men stormed into the school. They went straight to Donna's classroom and forcibly took her.”
