• Vittorio, with a touch of sarcasm, replied, “If by 'interesting' you mean the buffet, then yes, it was.”
• Eleonora noticed Vittorio's disdainful tone, but didn't let it faze her. She continued with a perceptive look, “I also found it interesting that the party happened to be John Smith's inauguration as Ellis's husband.”
