Chapter 29
- Ellis Smith walked into the office of the architect Ross Cooper, feeling a mix of anxiety and determination. She observed Ross typing forcefully on his computer, and his initial expression of displeasure seemed to transform into understanding as he noticed her presence. Ross looked up, his eyes locking onto Ellis, evaluating her from head to toe, a discreet smile beginning to form on his lips.
- Ross's gaze traveled up from Ellis's feet, taking in the sleek black heels she was wearing, skimming over the smooth curves of her thighs, and finally settling on her well-proportioned figure adorned in an elegant black dress. A fleeting thought crossed Ross's mind: if it weren't for the brown hair, she would be the perfect candidate for him. He stood up, adjusting his suit, and offered a polite smile as he extended his hand in greeting.
- The architect rose, elegantly adjusting his suit, and then extended his hand to greet her. "Hello, Miss Barker. Welcome. Please, have a seat."
