• Vittorio was seated, staring intently at Ellis, irritated by her reaction. He truly hadn't expected her to respond this way, especially after showing her the photo of John, her husband, cheating on her with another woman. He shook his head in disbelief and let out a frustrated sigh.
• "You don't look anything like the woman I married, Ellis. You weren't like that. You wouldn't just let such a massive betrayal slide and accept that your husband slept with someone else," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
• Ellis turned to Vittorio, her expression filled with incredulity as she let out a sardonic laugh. She eyed him disbelievingly, as if she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Are you absolutely sure about what you're saying, Vittorio? Because I distinctly remember that on our wedding night, you weren't exactly with me. You spent the night with the woman who's now your wife," Ellis said, pointing to Eleonora.
