• Maxton could not sit still. He was so agitated by everything that had happened but he was more worried about Belle's safety.
• He was very sure she went to Teja's house since that was the only family she had in New York, but what he was not sure about was if she actually got there. She had left in a very emotional state and was at risk of being involved in an accident.
• He picked up his phone to call her but as he was dialing her number, he changed his mind. Belle would not pick up his call and so he called Teja instead.
