Chapter 67 Tick Tock

• The next day, Maxton went to work and left Belle home alone. He had asked her to follow him to work and attend some meetings he had so she could help him with the decision making but she had refused. Maxton thought she had a degree in business administration but what he did not know was that it was all a hoax and Belle wanted to keep it at that. She did not want to go and expose herself with her zero knowledge of the business.
• She took the opportunity to tour the house and she was in awe of the number of expensive things she saw. It was like the house was a mini museum. There were a lot of vintage objects which cost a whooping sum. The cutleries seemed to be solid silver.
• "You know you could just steal some of these and sell them to get the money you need?" A voice said in her head and Belle gasped.
