Chapter 53 Boogie Business Woman

• Belle could not sleep that night. Her mind was filled with a lot of worries to allow her rest. Not only was she scared that the nightmare she had last night would reoccur, but she was too anxious about the events of the day to sleep. The thought of how she was going to save Landon also haunted her and kept her awake. She lay in bed thinking of what to do. Despite what Teja had told her, she was still scared about going back to Maxton. She had been lucky a good number of times and she knew her luck would soon run out. But if she did not go back to him how was she supposed to be able to save Landon?
• "You could sell the necklace," A voice reminded her. It was the same voice that had suggested it the other times and honestly, she was starting to despise that voice.
• Not only was it telling her to do the impossible, but it was making her feel guilty for her selfishness. She hated the voice for it was the truth.
