Chapter 47 Complications

• “Hello Maxton,” Belle said in a scared and shaky voice as he answered her call. He had been calling her for hours but she didn’t know what to say to him, so she ignored his calls until she saw the message he sent threatening to call the police.
• “What the fuck has been going on, Belle?” Maxton yelled on the phone. “I have been calling you over and over again without a response! I have left you numerous text messages, still with no outcome. What the fuck is wrong with you?! I really deserve an explanation.” Maxton bellowed.
• Belle knew he was really in a rage, as this was the first time she had heard him curse.
